Fancy becoming someone who ‘knows about art’? Don’t have millions to spend on a shark in formaldehyde? Like to learn a little bit more about what’s what in the art world? If this sounds like you, welcome to the Affordable Art Fair Battersea. Between Thursday 9 and Sunday 12 March, over 1,000 artists will put their work up for sale in Battersea Park for as little as £100. The Affordable Art Fair has revolutionised and democratised the art market with its accessible approach, offering art fans the chance to purchase works for under £6,000.
This year’s fair explores the power of art in aiding wellbeing and will feature new collections, workshops and practical sessions, including meditation classes, paper folding and mindful photography.
To celebrate the opening of this year’s Affordable Art Fair, we’re giving away 10 pairs of tickets allowing winners access at any time from the Charity Private View on Wednesday 8 March through to Sunday 12 March including the Late View on Thursday evening. There will be complimentary wine available at the evening views and a packed programme of free events throughout.
By entering this competition you’ll be signed up to the free Mr Hyde daily email newsletter.
We’ll tell you about places to eat and drink and we’ll throw a frankly overwhelming number of special offers and competitions your way. In short, we’ll do everything in our power to make your life that little bit better.
