Salute Soho’s seedy side at this free exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery

Quick, someone run to the Seriously Cool Photo Exhibition Klaxon and give it a mighty crank. Picture giants Getty are hosting a brilliantly filthy tribute to Soho right now until November 19 at their gallery space on Eastcastle St, and you owe it to your home city to take a look. SOHO (free entry) is bursting with shoulda-been-there-man shots of Bowie at his famous Marquee Club gig and Miles Davis playing Ronnie Scott’s, juxtaposed against everyday street cleaners, city boys and shoeshines and, of course, those mucky shops that terrify your repressed Brit sensibilities.
