With more than 700 classic cars on display, this year’s Classic Car Show at ExCel London is the biggest ever. From 23-26 February you’ll be able to browse, gawp at and possibly even touch (but best ask first) some of the most prized vehicles ever made, including a collection of 20 Ferrari road cars together worth £120million. Among these will be a 1961 250 GTO, alone worth an estimated £35million, a 1984 288 GTO worth £2.2million and a 1972 Dino that’s positively a snip at only £350,000.
The show’s other highlights include The Perfect Ten – 60 iconic classic cars split into 10 body-type categories for the engineering buffs amongst you – which will be driven along The Grand Avenue and then showcased in the Open Paddock.
At the Gala Evening on Thursday (February 23), six-time Le Mans winner and motorsport legend Jacky Ickx will be guest of honour, along with Jackie Oliver, Derek Bell and Jürgen Barth – three of the drivers with whom he shared five of his six wins. They’ll also be joined by another Le Mans legend, five-time winner Emanuele Pirro.
Tickets to the 2017 London Classic Car Show start at £24 and are now available to buy at thelondonclassiccarshow.co.uk
