Win one of five sessions at Run For Your Bun café

Introducing the World's first café that accepts exercise as payment

The world’s first café where diners pay for their lunch by exercising is opening in London. The ‘Run For Your Bun’ café, created by David Lloyd Clubs, aims to encourage people to be more active during the working day and highlight in a unique way the important role that a balanced diet and regular exercise play in a healthy lifestyle.

Diners simply order a lunch item from the menu before completing a quick ten-minute high intensity interval (‘HIIT’) circuit as their method of payment. They make their ‘exercise payment’ to one of the café’s personal trainers before cooling down, taking a seat and refuelling with their chosen lunch item.

So the price to pay for a grilled chicken burger at Run For Your Bun? That’ll be one-minute on the rowing machine, one minute on the spin bike and one minute on the treadmill, as well as 60-seconds of sit-ups, squats and lunges.

Location: 3 Slingsby Place, Covent Garden, London
Date: Friday 13 January between 12:10-1:40
