Workout: How to train with resistance bands

Beginner: 4 sets 

Advanced: 5 sets 

Rest: 30 seconds between each set

  • Banded offset press-up: 10 reps
  • Banded reverse lunge: 10 reps on each leg
  • Banded bicep curl: 12 - 15 reps
  • Banded deadlift: 15 reps 
  • Banded upright row: 12 - 15 reps 
  • Banded overhead squat: 10 reps

While his training changes from person to person, varying the exercises to best improve an individual’s strength, movement and overall performance, he most enjoys the vein throbbing discipline of weightlifting.
